Never hired a medical illustrator? Here's what you can expect:
1. We have a chat so I can get an idea about the scope of the project. Information that I will need from you includes:
+ Number of illustrations
+ Art style (Should it be realistic? An infographic? Etc)
+ Time frame and schedule
+ Any research/background material you think is important for me to have
+ Format (File type and size)
+ Licensing information (Will this be in print, or on a website, etc?)
Once I have all the necessary information, I will send you a quote that covers the initial creative plus one set of revisions. When I get your approval, I will move forward with the design.
2. I will create a clean sketch of each illustration discussed and send it to you for feedback.
3. Once the sketch is approved, I will fully render the images and send them your way!
